Haliburton County Reads - Summer of 2012
Haliburton County Reads consist of a moderator and a panel of individuals, each of whom will be putting forward a book that they believe all of Haliburton County should read. Each week the books will be discussed and one book will be eliminated from the running until we have one finalist left at the end of the series. We invite submissions from both permanent and seasonal residents. Completed forms can be brought to 100.9 CanoeFM or dropped off at any of the County libraries. Submissions must be in by no later than Friday, June 1, 2012.For info call Greg at 705-286-2414.

Ontario Volunteer Service Awards - May 4, 2012
Canoe FM volunteers recieved an Ontario Service Award for putting in more than 5 years of volunteer time with Canoe FM. This event was held in Lindsay at the Armories.

The 4th annual Canoe FM Radiothon, in support of volunteer, community radio is once again hitting the airwaves on Friday July 6th and Saturday July 7th.
