I have volunteered at Canoe FM for five years and now host an afternoon show, Tea for Two, on Tuesday afternoons. I also do the daily scheduling with a few other volunteers and help out in the office. Presently a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, Haliburton Curling Club, volunteer for the Red Cross Blood clinics and look forward to joining the Haliburton quilt Guild this fall. My hobbies are curling, golfing, walking, tennis, quilting and reading.
I believe that Canoe FM is a vibrant part of the lives of Haliburton County residents and a very important tool for communication within our area. You can hear me on the air Tuesdays from 2-5 p.m.
