I grew up a long way from the centre of the universe in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. I spent too much time playing with the dials of my transistor radio, trying to find what the cool people were listening to. Invariably, I would fall asleep with the radio on, and I think it's because of this sleep-teaching that my brain is crammed with the lyrics of too much pop music. There is no room left for me to think. I guess that's why I teach high school.
