I came to Haliburton Lake as a teen for regatta weekend and loved it! Cottaged in Haliburton for 28 yrs always with the dream to live here. So when I retired from Bell Yellow Pages in 2002 ,I moved here. I stopped by Canoe Fm one day looking for a part time job and met Dave Sovereign. He said I could work here but with no pay. The station wasn't even on air yet or had there CRTC approval. And I said yes I would love to work here. The rest is history as they say. One of the best experiences of my life.
