Paddling Beyond the Main Stream |
"Paddling beyond the Mainstream” has been on the air for almost seven years. Most of the content is acoustic based, folk, roots and Americana but not restricted. As the name suggests, it consists of music that is generally not considered mainstream or commercial. Most of the artists are independent singer/ song writers and we average about 80% Canadian content. A portion of the program is called "Home grown selection" were we feature artists from our community. We regularly feature guests, live from our studio in downtown Haliburton. In addition, we feature a segment called "Going with The Current”, new recorded releases from several recording studios, music promoters and independent artists.
