(Events in the County) - CANOE F.ML 2010


Canoe F.M. is easy to find
Just tune your radio to one hundred point nine
Ran all this time by volunteers
Doing well all this time for seven years.

It gives us music and weather each day
But if you don't care for what they play
Tomorrow they'll have on just what you like
And maybe this weather will take a hike.

Now, Roxanne and Tag put on a mighty fine show
They're Canoin' in the Country as you all know
And Saturday morning is when they do it
Come in at nine and get right to it.

And Jaycock and Henwood have a lot to say
Giving out news and lucky numbers on Saturday
And Aileen on Sunday with her Gospel Songs
Gets my day off right as I hum along.

But beside all these there are many more DJ's
Filling up the air both night and days
Canoe F.M. using these volunteers to do what they do
And wouldn't you like to be one too?

Yes, wouldn't you like to be a volunteer?
Using your voice through all the year
Having a lot of fun like they all do
Helping paddle Haliburton's canoe!

And don't forget to bring some dough
For they need a lot to make it go
Yes, it takes a lot to run this station
And you'll deserve a standing ovation!
